Mega Maten MML lengths

Does anyone with a 12 MML upper know if the handguard will butt up to the back of the gas block on a rifle length gas system or if there is a big gap with the gas tube exposed? Does anyone have any pictures?

Well if the hand guard is 12” and a rifle length system is usually 14” I’m guessing there’s a gap. Here’s a picture of Jon McQuay 65 Maten

Not sure where you got 14" on a rifle gas system from. We are talking length in front of the receiver. That rifle in the photo is the old megalithic receiver I believe. Does anyone have a picture of the MML 12" Maten handguard with a rifle length gas system?

Yeah your right. I usually run rifle plus 2 which is 14. Got confused
