I was able to land one of the Remington 40X HB's from CMP this last round that I am planning on making like new for my son. I've already started on the stock and I am now looking for a smith to redo the bluing on the metal. The name Mel Doyle has come up in quite a few different threads as I research Google.
I was inquiring if any of you have heard the name of have used him in the past and could give a recommendation. This is an important project for me and I want to get it right.
