Wow, what a day! A little snow on teh grass for a white Christmas, family all together, Blu Ray fire(trad for us since we have never had a fireplace), and kids opening their stuff.
Cinnamon Rolls to make Cinnabon sweat getting a beat down with good strong coffee for breakfast, then a little clean up of papers and such. Panty 6 got a nice little bit of kit that needs to be installed(iPod adapter for her truck). Then the prep for dinner:
Roast Beast(Ya'all call it Prime Rib)
RoastHam with Red Eye Glaze
Potatoes au Gratin
Creamed Spinach
and finally a belly killing desert:
Puff Pastry quarters layered with mixed berries, and french vanilla bean ice cream, and dollops of fresh sweet whipped vanilla sugar cream.
Now ya'all may say that's a lot for a guy on a low fixed income, but we save for this day all year long and the leftovers will run at least 8 - 10 meals.
The best part though? Man spending Christmas with my family is the best! No more missed holidays for this guy!
