I haven't been nearly as vigilant in labeling my pistol brass for number of times fired as I do for my rifle brass.

In all truth, I haven't been as vigilant about my bulk (blasting).223 and 5.56 brass either as I pick up quite a bit, in addition to my own. I clean it all and handle it / inspect each one but...

I haven't had any problems with this method thus far as I toss offenders out when I find them. And I am aware of the problems a stuck case can present.

How do you fellers track pistol brass? In lots, like match brass?

45 brass I shoot in NRA pistol matches is kept seperate. I keep a record tag in the ammo box with that particular lot. For plinking, if a case mouth splits I toss it in the scrap box under the loading bench.
