Mid-Range Sniper Match SUNDAY, August 19th 2012
Location: Nampa Rod & Gun Club, 7:30 A.M. sign-in
Format: Individual match designed to test participants’ skills in different scenarios based on time, distance, target, and position. Course of fire: 60 rounds total fired from 100 to 600 yards. No sighting shots allowed. Positional shooting will be part of multiple stages.
Target/Scoring: The B-27 silhouette paper target will be the primary target employed. A mover target of a different type will be used, too.
Equipment: All equipment is to be carried by participants. Shooting mats, sling, bi-pods, sandbags, pack, any safe centerfire rifle with detachable magazines and ammunition are suggested. No .50 BMG rifles due to range rules restricting use. Those using muzzle brakes must successfully manage airborne dust produced during prone stages.
Registration & Cost: Contact Shane Parker at [email protected] for registration or questions. Cost $20.00 per participant. Do not send PMs.
