Midwest ranges

Does anyone know of ranges in the Midwest that have long distances ranges on site?

Aurora Sportsman's Club in Waterman. About an hour west of Chicago. Goes out to 600 yards.

Winnequah Gun Club
Closest long range club that I know of.Facilities out to 1200 yards. Their membership fees are pretty damned high. I generally just shoot on private land.

I was last year. Planning on going back next year. Got too busy with work to justify the cost this year. What part of Chicagoland are you located in?

Addison, about an hour and 15 min from Waterman. Currently going to Ottawa every other weekend to shoot at Buffalo range. I have only been to Aurora once for the zombie shoot a year ago. Seemed like a nice range, just hesitant because of some of the things I have read on other forums.

It is a clean range, my only complaint about it is them renting out space all the time which reduces your available lanes. There's also a ton of brass to pick up there.

The two guys i talked to who were members here were total ass hats. I would be more then happy to make the drive down there under better circumstances.

Youngs Long Shot Range
2 or so hours east on 80.
We have a few members from Chicago land as well as a couple that come from Wisconsin... Close, it is not... but that is the ONLY down side, and worth the 2.75 hour round trip for me.
