Mildot spotting scopes

Hey there,

While googling for scopes shows a ton of results, doing the same for mildot spotting scopes seems to be very different!

I have a cheap Konuspot 80 or 100 and it tumbled off the tripod today and now won't focus. I'm looking into seeing if it can be serviced, but also looking to see about some kind of replacement.

While I'd love an expensive spotting scope, reality is that I'm tapped out and looking to spend as little money without compromising quality too much. I am wondering if there is anything cheap ($500 or less) that might be a mildot scope for ranging. I'm not optimistic, but hey - a guy can ask right?

Thanks,
dradeke

Another vote for the Bushnell Legend T. Mine doesn't see much use any more since I have migrated to binos for most spotting uses, but it's hard to beat that spotter in the under $500 price bracket, especially when you want a reticle.

Thanks for reply. I found the 15-45x for $599 and I'm going to take a look at it,. anything else come to mind? Is there anything that goes up to 60x?

$599 is MSRP, but they're $445 on Amazon right now. I'll also add that 60x is overkill unless you're trying to read holes in paper at distance, and anything in this price bracket is going to have a hard time with clarity and light transmission once you start pushing towards that 60x magnification range. I've used my Legend T to spot for 6.5 Creedmoor and SAUM out to a mile in the past.
