Got my set of Aussie Army Infantry Webbing, excellent peice of kit, durable as anything, can fit 2-3 days worth minus sleeping bag in it.

Current setup is 2 minimi pouches, 2 steyr pouches, 2 canteens and the collapsing bum-bag.
generally carry a daypack for all the non-necicearry gear or sleeping bag if im overnight.

Just a tip, if you havent used it before, the harness doesnt take the weight, the belt does. you should be able to wear the gear without the harness.

then why the suspinders then if they dont hold any weight?

the suspenders (known as a harness or H-Harness) exist to stop the webbing slipping down. they should be just a little firm on the shoulders with the belt tight and sitting above your hips, to allow you to essentially throw the harness off your shoulders and jump up and down, without the webbing falling off.

If you let the harness take your weight you risk damaging your back through bending/lifting ect. The belt allows you to take the weight on your pelvis and legs where its better taken by the body.

And funny Nomad should mention the GI vest. I actually bought one of those for about $30 from aussie disposals once. Fitted to the LightInf webbing set really well and was alot more comfortable than just the harness.
Couldnt use it outside unit activities because it wasnt Auscam but it still was a good bit of gear.
