Rifle Scopes Millett for a .338 edge

I currently have the above scope on my 7mm mag but I am gonna have some work done to it and have it become a .338 edge my question is, if I have the muzzle brake from AI fitted to the rifle will the scope do ok for me to learn how to take long distance shots (700-1000 yards) until I can get the money for a Nightforce scope, also what can that scope compare to, and what would I be better off buying, a nightforce scope or a Leupold vx-7

Vegas has the over/under on the Millet self-destructing, at 73 rounds.

I'm going with the under.

Get the Nightforce and never look back. They're proven on the big bores and in tactical applications. They're one of the Big 5, IMO.

Save a little longer and just get the NightForce right off the bat, why waste the money on crap?

I talked to a customer at work today and he had brought in a .300 win mag with a nightforce scope on it to get bore sighted, and I was impressed. Granted I the best scope I had looked through at that point was a leupold vx3, but Yea at this point I am going to get the NF scope unless someone showsup at my doorstep with something that would be leaps and bounds better for next to nothing, which I have no idea which would be what.

+1 on the Nightforce. I had my NF 5.5-22 before I transformed my 300wm to a .338 edge. Definitley go with the NightForce

MILLETT ALL THE WAY! GLASS IS JUST AS GOOD AS NIGHTFORCE, ACTUALLY CLOSER TO S&B!
