Hi peeps.

Changed out scope on my Tikka T3X to a vortex viper 4-16 x 44.....in the process of zeroing, I've used up over half my turret travel.....I have appx 9.5 mils remaining....running medium rings. Scope centre to bore centre is 42mm....does this sound right to you lot?? Photo is of field zero...so turret isn't yet reading zero..but as you can see....eaten up a lot of rotation. Ps....got back to set turrets and it ate ALL the zero stop shims. Also before you ask, running a ZeroMOA rail

Thanks in advance

While that doesn’t sound ideal, a 20 moa base puts you back in the game pretty easily. That will give you over 15 mils of elevation to dial from your zero.
