So I have the subject rifle in 260 rem - gun has exactly 64 rounds down the pipe. Only thing I have done with it is add a TriggerTech. Gun shoots about 1/2 moa with Prime Ammo out to 1000. I think I could tighten those groups up with handloads. I bought this thinking I would get into PRS, but with work and kids I don’t have the time. I am toying with the idea of selling this and buying a christensen ELR 6.5 PRC for hunting. Its about a pound lighter with a 26” pipe. Seems like it would be sweet for the hunting I do in idaho.
Couple questions -

1. if I sell it, how much you guys think I could get out of it?

2. Would you bag the ELR in 6.5
Prc idea and just roll with the 260? The ElR seems kind of sexy, maybe I am romanticizing it.

If you have a 1/2 MOA rifle out to 1K you should never ever sell it. Oh BTW buy all the Prime ammo you can to feed it.

So, I should probably qualify that 1000 yard statement. The sample size is small - I have shot 2 5 round groups at 1000 yards. One measured 7 inches the other measured 4. Still, with factory ammo I have been impressed.

I'd keep it for sure. Sounds like a winning combo you've got. What glass did you put on it? I'm about to buy a Remington 5R Magpul Enhanced rifle in 6.5CM. I want a compact, reasonably lightweight rifle for my son to hunt with (and for me to shoot some in the meantime) until he's old enough to legally hunt. I'm thinking of putting a Mk5HD 3.6-18 scope on it.
