I did some research and decided which brand I wanted. Then I went to eBay and found a guy selling them who was a reasonable driving distance from me. I contacted him outside eBay and negotiated a bulk buy, then drove to his place of business and picked them up. They weigh close to 20# each and shipping will run 1/4th to 1/3rd the price of the MREs themselves. I've seen some online vendors who offer free shipping on large purchases but they all had severely inflated prices to begin with.

Does it really matter that much, the shit we get in the field is usually been setting in a warhorse since the first Gulf War and even then its made by 12 different manufactures, clear bags tan bags green bags you name it, the best ones in my opinion are the yellow ones we air drop. Just go with anything, even if we were to order them thru supply the stock numbers would be the same and the packaging would be different. Good luck
