Anyone know of any smiths that can correctly chamber and contour a Lilja Mk13 Mod 5 barrel and fit the Mk11 suppressor, other than high caliber sales?

    Thanks in advance!

Think Alan is 12-14 months out on builds. I’m sending my action/mk13 mod 5 Lilja blank, can to Long Rifles once the Mk11 can’s tax stamp comes back.

I know Alan, and he is very good. Alan does some work for us, but as I understand his schedule, he is not taking on more bolt action builds, or if he is, not many.

If you need a Mk11 gas block, which you will need if you are using the Mk11 suppressor, let me know. We make them.

Hi Longshot, the Mk13 mod 5 doesn’t take a gas block (although one or two earlier variants did mod1 and/or 2 I think).

The Mk11 suppressor mounts via notches cut into the barrel itself - these serve as the location points for the gate latch on the can. Additionally, a .125” pin will be installed at the 6 o’clock position on the barrel to index the suppressor so it sits at 90 degrees straight up relative to the horizontal gate latch mechanism.

If I had a lathe, requisite tooling and the mk248 mod 1 reamer, I would do all of this myself but unfortunately I can only afford so much stuff lol.
