Hey i was just wondering if anybody had any info on using this type of bullet with a MK12. Will a MK12 feed it reliably with the bullet being that long?

Re: Mk12 and Black Hills 77gr

Yes...conditionally.

The original Mk12 Mod 0 and the Mod 1 rifles were designed to run the Mk262 Mod0/1 (77gr SMK) ammo. Clone rifles are a whole different ballgame depending on who built yours, what barrel was used, etc., etc.

Re: Mk12 and Black Hills 77gr

MK262 is loaded to 2.25 coal same as the m855. should be fine with a standard 5.56 or even a wylde chamber.

Re: Mk12 and Black Hills 77gr

Mine seems to run it no problems, but handloads are more accurate in my rifle.
