Mk12 Scope question

I have a PRI MK12 Mod 0 Gen II and I have seen a lot of mixed and contradictory data on which is the correct scope for this rifle. I know there are already a few threads on MK12 rifle scopes but like I said, I can’t figure out which scope is right for this particular model.

Leupold mk4 3.5-10x40mm w/mil dot and 77smk elevation turret is the most commonly seen scope but other scopes have been seen.

Was the mk4 2.5-8x36 on earlier rifles?

Those were on the mod 1s along with the NF 2.5-10x24 and 2.5-19x32. The mod Hs used the same 3.5-10x40s as the mod 0s.

If you’re referring to the leupold 2.5-8x36, it’s aka the TS30-A2

You said that the 3.5-10x40 was most commonly seen on that particular rifle. Do you have a part number to the correct scope of that model?

A Google search can produce the part numbers for the 3.5-10x40 but I believe the issue scopes had either the Mildot or TMR with m3 knobs (1 MOA elevation, 1/2 MOA windage) and the turret also had the BDC for the 77g Sierra matchking and/or mk262 mod 1 at 2800 fps. The 2.5-8x36 TS30s also had a similarly marked elevation turret.

ETA: Leupold’s 3-9x36 MR/T w/mildot was also issued with the Mod 0s
