My Mk II BTV hovers around 1/2" at 50 w/ a few different types of cheap ammo. Same action, barrel, trigger, just a different stock. My 93 FV in 22 mag hovers around 1" at 100 yards.

Depending on what style shooting you do, the F stock may flex too much or not be high enough to give you a proper cheek weld.

I'll recommend looking at the BV model and the BTV, since the stocks on them are better/nicer.

Are they in a similar price range? As I am expecting a son next week, and looking at a new centerfire rifle.
