Rifle Scopes MOA on scope mount and base?

On my current setup I have 17 Mils below zero and only 7 above. Any negatives to using a 20 moa base and a 20 moa mount? That should give me 6 more Mils (approx) correct? Thanks.

It’s in a LaRue OBR mount right now. I thought the same thing. I wasn’t sure if I made an error or not. But at my 100 yard zero that’s the Mils I have

If my math is correct you would gain 11.6 mills, total of 18.6 up and leaving 5.4 down.

Correct.

For simple brains with no decimals 20 moa = 6 mils. If using a 20 rail and a 20 mount that would equal 40 moa. Twice what you said OP.
