Moderator widening TRG22 groups

Hi. I put a Wildcat moderator on my TRG22 and noticed the groups widening out from half an inch to nearly an inch @ 100m. Same reloads, bipod, shooter etc only difference was the moderator. The can was srewed on tight. I was wondering if I had a bad day or is the can affecting the groups. Any ideas anyone?

The extra weight on the end can affect the barrell harmonics. You might need to re-devlope your load. Adjust the powder charge and try some different speeds, see if you can get it to improve.
