I love my KRG W3, and I really want an X-Ray to replace the chassis on my Tikka Tac A1. KRG says on their website that it's possible to modify a R700 chassis to fit the T3X action. I emailed them asking for more information, but I haven't gotten a response. Has anyone here done this modification by any chance?

For those who don’t know and since I had to look myself: krg doesn’t make a left handed chassis for tikka which is why he’s trying to convert one.
Yeah, thanks for clarifying that. KRG only makes lefty chassis for R700 actions.
R700 and Tikka footprints are very different actions, Manners uses an entirely different mold and doesn't just inlet the standard blank for a Tikka. I don't see any way that you're going to get a T3 into a 700 chassis. Your options are going to be look for a different chassis for the Tikka, or look for a different barreled action for the KRG.
You could just start with a right hand Tikka chassis the bolt handle mod isn't hard to do. I have tikka bravo that has been cut for ambidextrous .

It's easier to grind out the left side than it is to fill in the right side.
Update: KRG responded to my email and said the same thing you guys are saying. Guess I misread what they were saying on the website.
My whiskey is left handed now. Just bolt handle cut.
