Col Robert Howard died on 23 Dec. He was our nations most highly decorated soldier with 1 Medal of Honor (MOH) and 3 nominations for the MOH, 2 Distinguised Service Crosses, Silver Star, etc with 8 Purple Hearts for over 14 documented wounds.

He was a true warrior and it was my privilege to work with and for him from 1981-1984 at JFKSWC at Fort Bragg.

Wow... nominated 3 times for MOH. Downgraded twice to the DSC because they didn't want to tell everyone what he was doing.

My son, the next in a long line of warriors in the family, is well on his way. At 7months old, he towers over 12month olds. He will be a force to be reckoned with, and will carry on the line.
