I talked to a grad assistant at school who is from Nigeria and asked him about this video. He said it is commonplace and that folks train the monkeys and some even gamble on the events.

FWIW, the Spanish narrator says that they're wild boars.

Thanks, warthogs have a very characteristic "flat" snout, along with much longer hair-but most of all the tusks! Wild boar seems accurate.
