monopod

for sale

decided to sell my savage 110ba rifle in .338 lapua. asking $2,000 for the rifle without scope. with scope comes to $3,800.serious inquiries only please. this rifle has only been used once since i bought it and it has only fired 40 rounds through it.

I should have read the rest of the post. I didn't know Accu-shot made a stud mounted monopod. I have a Accu-shot on my AR and would recommend that, plus its a whole lot less expensive than the CTK!

I bought a Accupod mounted it to my PRS on my Ar10. Shortly afterwards I removed it and went back to a rear bag. It is well made however I suggest you try one out before spending $100 plus on one. JMHO

I am using the Accupod on my PRS and would agree that it is not perfect and probably less stable than a rear bag. However, it is more accessible since it remains attached to the stock. The problem is there is always some play in both the stock and the screw that allows you to adjust elevation. Unless the screw is adjusted very short (and sometimes your bipod does not give you that option), it wobbles a bit...
