Me and the wife are taking a vacation sometime between August and October, planning on using air bnb.

Looking for recommendations on areas.

Was thinking about maybe trying to bring a rifle with me, and maybe coyote hunt some, since it looks like yoh don't need a license.

Anywhere near flathead valley. I prefer north of Whitefish like Eureka or Redford but all of it’s beautiful.

We have one place saved, that is near whitefish, looks awesome.

Needless to say, that time of year is pretty warm by Montana's standards. Look for somewhere with elevation and water. You may be sucking in a lot of smoke from forest fires too.

In all seriousness, it can be hot up here then. Niehart might be nice, and should be somewhat cooler and not so touristy.
