No, there is no newer version coming, as this hasn't been out long enough to warrant a newer version. The price is due to a pre-tariff overstock and once the stock quantity balances to normal the price will be going back up. These rangefinder binoculars have gotten amazing reviews and I'm sure you'll be pleased

Great idea! It was tough to find any posts reviewing this on any forum. I think these fly under the radar a bit for whatever reason.
