This is a 1936 Tula arsenal Mosin Nagant action with:
Lilja barrel
Timney trigger
Boyd's stock
home made steel pillars
Cheaper than dirt AR-15 riser block turned machined into scope base.
Trijicon scope
Manson chamber and sizer die reamers
PTG reloading die blanks made of 4140

I built it in July and if it sights in in October, it will shoot a deer in October.

I have not shot it yet, but per Quickload it is nearly the same as my 6.5-06 Rifles I have been building and shooting deer with: 120 gr nos bal tip 3130 fps 47 gr IMR 4166.

I have 4 deer tags for October 2021, but the wife only wants 3 deer in the freezer. This rifle will get it's chance.

6.5 Vostok fits in Mosin action easily.
300 Win Mag in Mosin action takes effort. I made an ejection override button, so I could unload chambered unfired 3.34" OAL 300WM ammo.

I have a sporterized Polish Wz44 in a descent walnut stock id like to put a good medium weight 22 inch .308" barrel in the original 7.62x54r chambering on of these days.
Not many real gunsmiths in these parts and of those that are none have been willing to take it on.
