Mosin Nagant hex receiver. Monte Carlo stock.

Hey guys. More questions!

Bought this Mosin already drilled, taped and an ATI scope mount installed. ( apology to the purists! )
It came with a Monte Carlo stock but the website says it won’t fit with a hex receiver.
I really want to use this stock.

Has any won tried to fit one and how much material did you have to take off?

Year and who made it....please tell me it is not an american.

As to the stock, the hex is a little "fatter" I guess I will say....you should be able to do some trimming here and there and it should go.
