Friend just won this off an auction for around 450 so just looking for info.

anyone have anything to say about the action itself or if it can drop into 700 style footprints if he wants to change out stock?

Is getting aftermarket barrels a pain or any competent smith can spin one up as long as they have action on hand?

Mossberg MVP use a different footprint then 700's. You have to find stocks/chassis's that are inlet specifically for the MVP.

I have an MCP LC in 6.5 and I am having a hell of a time finding anything aftermarket for this rifle in regards to barrels or chassis. I do love this rifle though. I am way late on this post but thought I would give my two cents.
