Mossberg Patrol Optic

I know it sounds cliche, but the best you can afford. I just bought a 16" heavy barrel Howa. I'm pretty intrigued by all the CQB low magnification glass out there. Always been a fan of the scout concept, both eyes open. 30 yrs ago I bought a surplus Enfield "jungle carbine" in 308 and built my own. All my buddies laughed at it with its red dot sight. I took my 1st whitetail with it, 200yd running shot, left them all scratching their heads. It wasn't as accurate as their scoped rifles, but plenty capable.
