Night Vision Most compact optic for use with a PVS30?

Need something short for balance and reaching the PVS focus ring. This will be used on an AR/15 or AR10. Also, what is the best magnification range for use with this device for 50 to 300 yards.

If I had to step it down from a budget perspective, what else would you recommend? Or is FOV, glass clarity of utmost importance?

Not that anyone in their right mind would suggest it, but wondering if a 5x prism would work for short range hog hunting.

1-8 Trijicon is very sweet glass for the money, but its glass is different from all the other trijicon scopes i see.

its inferior glass, but the 1-4 trijicon is on sale for $4xx.00 through primary arms right now. If you’re on a tight budget, its quality but not the brightest or clearest glass.


another option is a used acog. Like a ta01nsn i think would work well
