I was looking and found some of the dpms guns can run ar-15 lower parts. To what extent. This has me pretty interested just cause i have alot of spare ar parts. The propriety parts formats have caused me issues in the past. Ive had real problems with the ar-10 variants. I feel cursed. But i also think i need one. but my m1a is serving me well

Depending on your buffer tube, A2 style or collapsible, the 308 buffers are different lengths. Most lower parts kits will work in a 308, mag release, trigger group. Gas blocks interchange but gas tubes can be different. Push pins, receivers, bolt groups, barrels and barrel nuts are different. 308s can be confusing. Of course not all 308 parts will interchange, like Armalite, DPMS, RRA, etc all have proprietary parts. Any info on what you have, or are planning on building? Maybe a complete rifle would fit the bill. 308s can get confusing but as long as the parts aren't low end, Chinese knock off stuff they can be built to run just takes some research.
