Mount Atlas bipod to a Manners MCS T stock?

I've done some searches on here and youtube. Can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for.

The Manners MCS T stock comes with a lug but it appears that a rail will need to be mounted to the stock for the Atlas setup. It appears that the rifle/action may need to be removed from the stock to attach the rail?

Any help appreciated.

I think I will go with a Harris bipod first as it seems to clamp right on the existing stock stud.

If that doesn't suit me, I try the Atlas setup.
