I am moving to remote KY and will need a gun safe. I dont want to spend over a 1000.00 . Can I get a decent 12 gun with room for hand guns for this amount? I know they have to be bolted or welded down. There are quite a lot of Crack oxy and meth heads in the county. I read they really like to steal guns I was going to just bring some of my guns down from Alaska and not sure how they will take to me having a 50 cal bmg sniper rifle. I will be able to have my self a combat shooting range on my land and no one lives around me close. I would like to get some pm,s from hunters and shooters in east KY who would like to shoot and build AK 47,s and others Ar15& 10,s tactical rifles too.regards and advice on a safe would help I thought browning makes a nice safe?

Go to Bud's Safes and Surplus and get a Cannon. A pretty large safe can be had for around $750.00 I think it was 25-30 gun capacity.

Ya you can buy a used liberty franklin for more money then a brand new Cannon? Why?

That is absurd. Why get used when you can get brand new for less money AND have it delivered and placed for you.

Bud's Guns would be first choice.
But if you're in the east end of the state and don't want to drive to Lexington and haul one back, check the Tractor Supply stores. They have Cannon safes in stock, and they're pretty reasonably priced too.
