MPA BA Lite Chassis/Build

Posted this up in the hunting sub and didn't get any feedback, so I figured I flip it up here.

BA Lite Chassis, 308 with a Savage SA.

Most if not all hunting will be inside 600 yards with most shots under 300, for the foreseeable future. My plan it to use the rifle for local matches as well.

Has anyone gone this route?

My other thought was to send the action to Hart and have them tune the action with a new barrel and drop it in to the same chassis system.

I put together two this year. I don’t compete anymore and wanted a bolt action that is comfortable to hike with. It turned into two. A 6mm slr 22” and a 223 20”. Picked up a ba folder butt section on the classifieds and used it on the 6mm.
They are light. I used 700 actions with ptg bolts. The hybrid came out right when I bought the pair of lights. They weigh about the same if you want a longer forend.
