I run heavy varmint and MTU in both of my MPA chassis. It's a case by case situation based on how everything lines up. For mine there was plenty of clearance on the NV bridge but I had a bit of contact on the lower ribs of the chassis. It's super easy to clearance so that things free float. A piece of sandpaper wrapped around some PVC pipe or a dowel and sand away until you can slide a piece of paper between chassis and barrel. The chassis is aluminum so material comes off quite easily. When you're done use a black sharpie to color the area where you sanded so it doesn't stand out under the barrel.
They changed the barrel channel cut in January. In 2018 the max barrel was M24 or 1.1” at 10” in front of the action. 2019 actions have the cut for full bull all the way out. At least thats what They told me this week.

Bumping an old thread...first MPA...how close it too close to chassis...it looks to the eye like that rear most rib is touching, but a piece of paper will slide in...good, or sand a bit?
