Really like the 0 degree pistol grip on my MPA chassis and thought I could install it on my ar10, but when it came in the mail it didn’t have the safety selector detent spring hole on it. I know on their website it said the grip can be modified to fit AR platforms but has anyone drilled that hole or installed the grip on a semi auto yet?

I did... I think I messed it up. There’s was no tension on the safety selector. I may have drill too deep. I ended up throwing it on an mdt chassis. I didn’t want to pay the money again to get a new one. I also had to dremel the hell out of it to get the back strap portion to fit. I wish they made one for the AR. I love it the pistol grip, but not my lack of skills to make it fit.

I order a left hand one. Wife has a righty one. The righty is injection molded solid plastic, or something. The lefty is honeycomb cnc material. Feels like a graphite or something. Anyway, I did both of mine. Sounds like you did drill too deep. Just fill it with epoxy and drill again. Don’t forget the hole for the takedown pin spring on the large frame AR lower.
