Out of ìnterest, is there anyone who shoots this stock and also float their thumb (on the shelf) with a 308 or larger caliber (braked)?
I don't seem to getting much love or adequate control (recoil) from the experience, is it me (likely) or is it meant more for the 6 and 6.5 crew?
Thanks for any insights
Pete

It shouldn't matter if you have sound shooting techniques. Make sure that you are loading your bipod and making good contact with your stock into your shoulder pocket. I swore I would never shoot that way but when I learned how to do it properly I wish I could take my thumb off when I shoot haha. I don't use a lot of force when I pull the stock into my shoulder, Just make sure it is snug.
