I believe price and lack of features <span style="font-weight: bold">(folding stock, adjustable gas system, quick change barrel)</span> when compared with a scar or acr will make them more attractive choices. </div></div>
Not sure why a folding stock is a must
The 416 seems to do ok with a can as is
The barrel was designed to last at least 2x as long as a standard AR barrel, and can and has been changed on the MR223 models.
To quote one of my own videos: "Why do you need all of that shit?" </div></div>
I'm not saying those features are a must. What I mean is that if I'm looking at a rifle thats roughly $2200-$2500 I would want the rifle that offered the most to the user.
All I see in the mr556 is another piston ar, which are already on the market for prices under 2k. It seems to me that if this rifle is going to be in the scar price range it should have features that make it worth the price.
