Advanced Marksmanship MRT sling use

I have a manners stock coming and just picked up a MRT leather sling to put on it. would like to do some practice w/ the sling, can anybody either post, or ling to some stuff on how to set up the sling and use it properly?

There's some different articles on the subject available on the web, but one of the best books on the subject I've ever seen is "Leather Sling and Shooting Positions" by Jim Owens.

Also, if you have CMP or NRA HP competitions in your area, those guys are masters at using the leather sling and can give you personal instruction.

You can go to the AMU's web site. They have a demonstration video regarding how to properly attach the sling.
