I just saw that Bud's gun shop has MSAR's for $982. Several gunshops in Kansas have these on the racks for $1999 to $2199. What's going on here?

I see the Steyr AUG's still at $2400, but can't believe this pricing on the MSAR. I just got interested in these, and looked at 5 or 6 at various gun shops this week. Anyone know what's up with this? I also looked at FN Herstal's FS2000,and they seem to be around $2100 at Buds and various gunshops...which seems consistant. SCAR's are sold out in my area.

For $982...Can't pass up the MSAR deal!

Re: MSAR's for HALF PRICE?

A buddy bought one at a local shop for $900 BNIB. I was talking to a 'smith buddy at another local shop and overheard the owner mention something about being able to get them for a little under 900 (dealer cost).

I bought mine shortly after they came out for $1200 shipped which was a good deal at the time.

I recieved an E-mail from CDNN the other day with em on special, something like $999 for one. Dealer cost would be about 10% under there or more. Not too shabby

the guns that are about $1000 are the older msar that take the msar mags the new e4 takes the ar-15 mags and those are about $2000. If you want one you can get the older one and by alot of mags and optics with the extra $1000
