Rifle Scopes Mueller for 22lr Trainer

Would a Mueller 8.5x25x44AO for $160 be a good choice for a $450 22-lr trainer out to 100 yards?

Why such a high power one?

Get the Mueller Tac II or the Mueller APV.

Should be fine to 100 yds. I run the APV on my .22 bunny killer and its a pretty nice scope. Watch for used ones, I got mine for 80.00 like new.

I have the 8.5-25. It works very nicely on my ruger 22 and on my Savage 204 VLP. I do wish I would have gotten the APV though.
