i have been looking around for a single shot action for some time now without success. Anybody know were i might find one and what do you think of them? would like one in 223.

Depends on what its use is go to be. I got a H and R Handi Riflr bull barrel in .223 cal for $250.00 .Its a break open gun like a shot gun. The heavy barrel makes it shoot pretty quiet,arruate good enough to get a coyote at 300 yards. Next step look into a T/C Encore rifle,brought in two seprate pices,I would buy the stock only with the serial numbers and buy a cutom barrel from Bull Berrys,MGM ,be far ahead. Also Bellm TC Inc.

I have seen them with a .308 bolt face, never with a .223. I drought that may are imported into the USA.
