I just bought a tikka t3 223 varmint and i would like to have a muzzle brake installed. Can anyone here do a tikka for me? Does the barrel need to be removed to install a muzzle brake? Thanks Lee

Re: muzzle brake instalation question

Removing the barrel should not be necessary, but it depends on the length capacity of the lathe being used.

As far as installing a brake, I'd look at a trip to see the GAP guys in Kansas City. It's a trip of a couple hours for you, but worth the trip, in my opinion.
