Ok so Im a noob. I got into reloading after the big ammo scare and we ran totally out of .243 boolits around here. I bought tons of primers, bullets, and powder with just the intentions of finding something that shot good enough for my liking in order to kill deer with.

Then came along this site. I learned alot...a little too much too quickly mainly being a lurker for a while without even signing up.

Either way here is a few pics of my devirginizing of reloading and even though Im not the best shooter persay yet. I am overall pretty happy with the progress and knowledge Im picking up.

It clearly shows the rifle likes the jump instead of jam or even just touching. Rifle is a savage model 12 with varmit/bull barrel. Im using speer 100 SPBT bullets, behind 40.9gr of H4831, remington 9 1/2" primers.

Im sure my case prep, and bullet prep isnt the greatest yet, but Im pretty happy with under a .5" group minus the flier in my 5 shot grouping.

I called it. It's a habit I can feel. When I used to shoot bows I would actually focus on other spots where arrows would hit as a point of interest and send a flyer...on longer shots where I can't see other dots or points of interest its not as bad.
