I just finished assembling my duracoated weatherby 300 mag. I received the gun as a gift and the finish was a bit worn and ive been wanting to try duracoat since hearing about it. I used Magpul OD green on the stock and the rest in Matte Black. So far im very happy with how it turned out. Seems very durable so far (doesn't scratch very easily). It also has a nice texture to it. I made sure to tape everything really well before spraying. No scope mounted yet but that's coming soon.

Sorry no before pictures.

I fired a few shots through it today to see how the duracoat holds up to some barrel heat. So far so good. No cracking, peeling, or discoloration. I definitely recommend this stuff to anybody looking to spruce up their old rifles.

No, I used their Prevale sprayer that came with the kit. I would prefer an air brush but I didn't have one available at the time. I was a bit nervous about the spray pattern of the aerosol sprayer they provided but it went on smooth and even. Im completely happy with it. Now, if I was doing a camo pattern then I would have to use an air brush to get the finer details. This was just a 2 color coating to clean up the worn finish.

I cant believe how good this stuff looks. Im even more surprised I didnt goof it up lol
