thought id share My rifle project all I have right now is the brass.
My idea was I wanted something that was still super sonic @ 1000 yards and had plenty of energy behind it
And a really long barrel life. Where id never have to worry about rebarreling for years . So I figured I needed a straight wall case
I could have went with a 458 lott and vlds with a fast twist barrel . But the 585 jut seemed more cool and unique .

ED Hubel designed the cases betram produces the brass . I plan on using a 1015gr gs sp bullet 2300 fps possibly 2500 fps .
But at 2300 fps .883 g1 bc it will have 1450 fps and 4800 ft lbs of energy at 1000 yard. Well that's what the numbers say on the jbm calculator .
going to use a Bat 2.0 Model L cheytac action . 32-34" barrel . MCgowen has the reamers but I think id rather have a pacnor . Oh yeah the plan is to use a xlr chassis . heres some pictures of the cases .
