Good Morning,

After about a year of load developement and trying different optics, I put together a 2.15" 5 shot group at 600 yards on Sunday with my Remington 5R 308. I was thinking about giving her a rest and going to a 6 BR Savage, but the 5R has earned at least one more trip to the next 600 yard shoot.

Nice one man!

What were the conditions like on the day?

What sort of load development have you done and what have you settled on?

Im still trying to decide if i want to go with the 175smk or the 155scenar... Im currently shooting both and havnt decided which will be my bullet of choice.

Pics or it didnt happen

The conditions were almost perfect, 5-10 MPH winds, and slightly overcast.
After trying several bullets and loads, I ended up with 175 GR SMK over 42.7 grains of Varget. I tried the 155 GR Scenar, but they wouldn't group at 600 yards like the 175 SMK.
I've got a picture ready to post, but I'm to F'n dumb to figure out how to post it.
