Re: My Badass Daughter

My daughter just turned 1 year old a couple weeks ago, I hope she can follow in your daughter's foot-steps some day...awesome job on her part and whoever schooled her up.

I remember perfectly being 5 years old and my father helping me shoot a rifle...it's a very special thing parents & children shooting together.

Can't imagine how proud you are!

Re: My Badass Daughter

I dont mean to be the fly in the ointment...but...What the heck was she aiming at?

Group shooters are worthless, unless they are hitting what they are aiming at.

Could have just said it. I figured as much, just wanted to make sure.

Re: My Badass Daughter

With a title like this for a thread, you just have to click on it. Glad I did. Outstanding shooting. And more importantly and as others have said, it is awesome that you have a kid that you have raised with a respect and interest in firearms.

Re: My Badass Daughter

beautiful shooting and a beautiful daughter! she better marry a guy thast doesnt shoot though...because i could never date a girl that shoots better than me! its just one more thing to argue about! haha!!

Re: My Badass Daughter

A beautiful young lady and a tremendous shooter. You have raised a winner, sir.

Re: My Badass Daughter

Nice shooting, unique and nice stick for her and beautiful daughter. LOL, I'm sure that she's probably too young for me, but I'll jump in line as well. Need a son in law that will have M.D. behind their name and a fellow shooter? Great job with raising your daughter to shoot, beautiful young lady.

Re: My Badass Daughter

Thats good. That is the first rifle I have seen with pink flutes. But after seeing the way she shoots she can have any color she likes!!

Re: My Badass Daughter

Is it just me or Jim the Plumber looks like a slightly overweight George Clooney?

Jim, your daughter shoots well, but most importantly, she's pretty hot.

Re: My Badass Daughter

She did better than I did...Good Work JtP, and to your Daughter as well.

Re: My Badass Daughter

Jim does a lot for our local longrange shooting community, last competition he was letting people throw rounds downrange with his 50 for free, and he put on the shoot! Glad to see you still make time to get your family involved Jim. Can't wait till my son is old enough to take shooting, he is 1 1/2 and can already say "rifle" and "trigger". Kudos for helping to get young people involved in a great sport!

Re: My Badass Daughter

That is awesome. My oldest is 16. She is quite the shot as well, having shot some very nice 3/4moa groups at 300 with various rifles of mine.

This past weekend we went and zeroed a new ACOG on a SHTF carbine I have. Once zeroed we started shooting a 45% IPSC gong at 100. She really enjoyed it. Had even more fun at the pistol range shooting Glock 45's. Once I got her over the fear of shooting a bigger bore pistol. Great to get them involved.

Re: My Badass Daughter

Good Job & great shooting. I will show my son & daughter the groups when they get home from school. My son needs more practice to keep up with her skills. It will be great to show my daughter since she has finally started to get interested in shooting & can now see a girl that shoots. Thanks!

Well both of my kids have seen the pics of the rifle & group now.

My daughters comments: Wow she can shoot. When she saw the rifle: Pink i can really see that, daddy can i have one.
My sons comments: I need to practice

Thanks for helping me get my daughter more interested!!

Re: My Badass Daughter

That sort of thing drives women AWAY from shooting sports guys. If you truely do want a chance at a wife someday who will enjoy shooting with you then don't treat everyone's daughter like it's a meat market. That's what porn is for. She deserves the same respect you'd give someone's son.

Seriously though, Jim, next time give her two more rounds and let her shoot a proper group. It's not like she wasted the first 3!
