very cool indeed, I wonder how he found the camera back or if it streamed the footage till space and if it did, he should have put a rocket under the ballon to shoot the whole thing in outer space once reaching max altitude. that would have been even cooler.

It was a balloon, right?
I was impressed at how fast it started climbing right at the first.

Weather ballon with over 20 hours of footage. Some sort of GPS was attached so they could find it. According to my friend, it landed about 40 miles away form them. They went and found it. I think there is a little bit of luck.
