So I may catch some crap but I maybe I am doing something wrong and maybe you nice folks can help me out. So I pick up a 6-24 used but it looked in good shape no scratches or nicks and glass look good. But when mounting the scope I noticed the ocular housing moved and was shifting the reticle was a lot. So I called swarovski shiped it out got back. So when I went to mount it agian I noticed it still moved but not as bad it’s only about the width of the vertical line in the reticle. And the eye relief is short by about .25 of an inch which I know sounds stupid but I know where my face sits on my gun. So to fix that problem I had to move my rings back to the last slot and put the scope as far back as I could. At this point I want to send it agian have fix the movement and then sell this and just get a NightForce.

We sell Kahles and Nightforce. Generally, we and our customers have been very happy with the K624i. Less impressed with the K525i. Your problem sounds a little unusual.

That said, complaints on the NF are rare, and returns to the factory rarer. If you are interested in a new Nightforce, PM me, we have great prices and lots of inventory in-stock, and if not in stock, we can get it in a few weeks.

What are the complaints on the 525? CA?

Ya the lady at swarovski was surprised also. Not to happy the fact it still moves. I would like to just trade this for a mil-c but want to get it fixed I wouldn’t be able to sleep right knowing I passed some bad shit off on someone

Speaking of NF and reticles, my NF ATACR F1 5-25 Mil-C exhibits a weird reticle studder when crank it up or down around the 25x. I haven’t noticed a POI shift through.

I don’t shoot anywhere near 25x but noticed the reticle wiggling so to speak when going up or down while looking through the glass. It almost appears as if something was loose inside. I did a search not long ago and I’m not the only one. I haven’t notched a POI shift so I haven’t bothered with sending it in.

When setting up the focus of that lens you can move the houseing and up down left right. It’s not as bad since it was fixed but still moves slightly. The only time I am at 25 power is when doing load development

Overall image clarity is reported not as crisp as 624

That's contrary to most of what i've heard and my own experience though admittedly the 525 loses a little bit of resolution at 25x. Other than that and FOV i'd probably never step back to a 624i largely on CA control alone.

What are the complaints on the 525? CA?

Most notable complaints i've heard and have myself are small FOV, shallow DOF, and a tight eyebox. CA control is extremely good for both the k318i and the k525i. Not perfect but a huge step in the right direction considering how much the 624i exhibited.
