My first AR

I know. No big deal but for a bolt gun guy that never had a reason to put one together I figured I'd share. Not the most expensive build but damn these things go together easy. Needed something to work on while waiting on a couple of builds. I think I have the black gun bug now unfortunately. lol.

Thanks. Yankee Hill forearm. The only thing I could find a the gun show last weekend that I liked. Whole rifle weighs in at 7.5lbs.

edt: btw, note sure how much a typical AR weighs but this barrel weighs a ton by itself. Most of the weight is there.

LOL, was wondering if anyone caught that. I need a pin to put it in. Not sure wth I did with the one they sent. I also launched both detent springs my first time trying and had to order new ones. And a few extras.
